We’ve found two new titles in particular that we think are worthy of your attention, as well as a golden oldie that we reckon deserves another mention.
App of the Week
Depalo [Free]
This sharp-looking app finds you ‘Insta-Worthy Spots in Any City’ – as long as one of those cities corresponds to one of the 12 provided location within the US, that is. Limited coverage aside, Depalo provides a stylish list of scenic spots for you to check out on your travels. Planning trips based on stylized Instagram posts might strike some as a little shallow, and even then Depalo is rather light on content. But if it takes off, it could become a handy holiday guide for millennials.

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite [Free]
Arguably the biggest mobile game release of the year, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite takes JK Rowling’s popular fantasy universe and applies it to a casual AR-powered adventure. If that’s not enough to convince you that Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is going to be huge, then consider that it’s been made by Niantic – the team behind the all-conquering Pokemon GO. There’s a similar real-world location-traipsing element at the new game’s core, but more in the way of fun mini-games built around that.

Triposo [Free]
Triposo has long been one of the best and most reliable sightseeing apps on the App Store. Its clean interface, extensive library of locations (50,000 destinations worldwide), and powerful search algorithms make finding things to do on holiday an absolute breeze. Whether you’re looking for a bite to eat or searching out the most interesting attractions, Triposo can search them out for you. Its guides also work offline, so you won’t have to accrue those painful roaming charges. You can also book hotels and attractions directly through the app.
