Apple Watch put on display for Paris Fashion Week

Parisians have been given a sneak peek of the Apple Watch after the new device went on display during Paris Fashion week.

The Apple Watch was first announced back in September when it was announced alongside the iPhone 6 range. This is the first public outing of the Watch and it set up residence for one day only at The Colette Boutique on Rue Saint Honoré which housed multiple 38mm and 42mm Watch’s. Visitors were able to queue outside the store to get there chance to have a look at the devices.

One attendee, Patrick Crowley, has posted a series of up close and personal images in a post that can be viewed on Storehouse.co.

Crowley describes a large line, and a crowd taking photos. Security was tight too, managing the line outside the store. He waited in line for around an hour and eventually spent about 10 minutes inside.

The Watch’s were scrutinized, and Crowley notes how different strap designs look, such as the great composition of the device’s aluminum with a white strap. He also noted that the watches looked surprisingly thin and non-bulky in real life.
