iPad Pro available for preorder from Weds 11 Nov

Until now, Apple hadn’t released anything more specific than ‘November’ regarding the release date of the newest iPad. The company has now confirmed that preorders will go live this week, with customers able to order an iPad Pro online from Wednesday 11 November.

The new device, far and away the most powerful iPad to date, will be available to preorder from Apple.com and will arrive in stores later the same week. It will be released in retail Apple Stores as well as selected carriers and resellers.

The iPad Pro will be sold in Apple’s three staple colors: silver, gold and space gray. No rose gold like the Apple Watch and iPhone 6s though. The Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard, brand new peripherals designed for the iPad Pro, will be available for preorder at the same time.

The tiered pricing starts at $799 for the 32GB version, $949 for 128GB and $1079 for a 128GB with cellular built-in as well as Wi-Fi. International pricing has yet to be confirmed, but Apple has confirmed the device will launch simultaneously in 40 countries around the world.
