iPad Pro sale – up to $250 off for a limited time

We don’t often report on hardware sales, and that’s because Apple products generally don’t come down much in price – especially not the latest models. So we were surprised to see some pretty hefty discounts appear on brand-new iPad Pros through Amazon.

At the time of writing, the 256GB version of the latest 11-inch iPad Pro is down from its usual price of $949 to just $799. The 12.9-inch model drops by the same amount, from $1,149 to $999.

There are discounts on other storage sizes, too, but 256GB is the sweet spot for value – and it’s the capacity we would recommend to most people, even at full price.

That said, anyone who needs all the storage they can get for tasks like video editing will be pleased the know there’s currently $200 off the 1TB model, too.

Meanwhile, the 512GB version of the previous-generation 10.5-inch iPad Pro – that’s the one that still has a Home button and a headphone jack – is down to $749 from its retail price of $999. That’s a big saving, and a great purchase if you really love your wired headphones.

Out of the US, there don’t seem to be major sales, though interestingly, Amazon UK seems to be listing most of the iPad Pro models below retail price.

We have no idea how long these discounts will last, and they may even start to run out by the time you read this – so act fast if you want to snag a bargain tablet. Check out the full range here.
