Apple news was a little light this week – the calm before the storm, we suspect, as next week is set to be absolutely fit to bursting with exciting announcements and reveals. We still managed to find some interesting tidbits from around the web, though, so read on for the best stories of the past seven days…

1. Staggered schedule

Supply and manufacturing issues could mean that we see the iPhone 8 hit the shelves a little late this year, with a delay of up to a month compared with this year’s two “standard” iPhones. Read the story!

2. Naming conventions

If a recent report is to be believed, the iPhone 8 won’t be called the iPhone 8 at all. Instead, the iterative updates will steal that moniker for themselves and the premium model will be called iPhone Edition. Read the story!

3. Steve Jobs Theater
