The release of Apple’s smartwatch is looming, so it’s no surprise it’s finally being put through its paces in an online video.

Like the iPhone and iPad unboxing, bend-testing, and scratch-checking videos, the Watch has also been put through its paces. The video above sees the Sport model attacked by keys, a knife, steel wool and sandpaper.
The Apple Watch standard and Edition models use the ultra-tough sapphire glass panels, which have already been tested, but the popular Sport model’s Ion-X glass has been tested in this video.
Surprisingly, the Ion-X glass holds up almost as well as the sapphire, failing just one of those tests; it was no match for the sandpaper.
