Will we have the iPhone 6 by 19 September?

It seems so, according to a new report on one of China’s leading IT hubs; PCinLife. The latest rumors have been circling, and they appear to suggest that the iPhone 6 will arrive sometime between 16-19 September.

Of course, the date of Apple’s announcement is now generally accepted to take place on 9 September – this latest titbit of information essentially supports both itself and the announcement date.

Earlier this month, it was apparently let slip to Re/Code that Apple were planning a huge media event for 9 September. Of course, the company declined to comment on the rumor.

This latest revelation fits with tradition, which sees Apple put its latest handset up for pre-order the Friday after the announcement, with the phone itself going on sale the Friday after that.

Current leaks and rumors have suggested that Apple will release two sizes of its iPhone 6 – one with a 4.7 inch screen, and the other with a 5.5 inch screen. It’s also expected that the iPhone 6 will include an A8 processor, stronger camera, and a sapphire glass display.
