Latest issue of Swipe: Music Apps for Non-Musicians

  • by

We’ve just released a new issue of our sister app, Swipe – the iPhone Magazine!

At the time of publishing, Apple’s big annual iPhone event is just days away – and we’re excited! Check out the News section for a little more on what to expect, and be sure to check back next issue for our essential rundown of every single reveal.

For now, though, let’s keep our feet on the ground and focus on something else. Speaking of which, focusing on something other than your iPhone or iPad is exactly the theme of our lead Feature this issue! These devices are brilliant, but can lead to unhealthy habits if not kept in check. We try to look at ways to keep a healthy life-iPhone balance without throwing your device in the sea.

As a counter to that, our Reviews roundup looks at perhaps the finest example of iOS lowering the barrier to entry for a complex art form. Making (good) music is no easy task, especially when you factor in the cost of instruments and the time spent learning to play them. The apps we look at this issue have a different idea, showing how even those without a musical bone in their body can quickly and easily have fun with digital music creation.

Finally, if you’re as excited as we are about iOS 13’s public release this month, you’ll be pleased to know our series covering all its new features is continuing in How-To this issue.

All that and more in this issue of Swipe Magazine. Enjoy!
