It’s possible to save images from apps by taking a screenshot of the current view on your iPhone. To do this, press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and let go. The placement of these buttons is slightly different depending on which design of iPhone you have – see the image below if you’re not sure.
Press the Home and On/Off buttons together to take a screenshot
The screen flashes and a camera shutter sound will play.
You’ll see a little preview of the screenshot in the bottom left of the screen. This will disappear after a few seconds, or you can swipe it off screen. Tapping it allows you to annotate the screenshot.
The screenshot can then be found in the Photos app.
