iOS 8 Guide: make and take calls on your iPad

Own an iPhone and an iPad? Then you can now make and take calls on both – thanks to iOS 8!

To start with you’ll need to set it up on both of your devices. On the iPhone, open the Settings app, select FaceTime and enable iPhone Cellular Calls. On the iPad open the Settings app and select FaceTime, then enable iPhone Cellular Calls.

If both devices are in close proximity, when the iPhone receives a call you can answer it on your iPad if this is nearby. You can conduct the call as usual, although holding it up to your ear may be a step too far.
