Time to update Tips & Tricks
If you’ve not updated our app recently, now’s the time to do it! We’ve spent the last few months updating the entire app for iOS 11, including dozens of new tips, but you’ll only see those changes if you have the latest version of the app.
To update, open the App Store and tap the Updates tab. You can either hit Update All or manually press the Update button next to our app name in the pending updates list. If you already have version 11.0 of Tips & Tricks, it won’t appear in the list.
When you’re done, take a look over in the Tips section of the app and you’ll find some fun new stuff in the Introduction chapter. Specifically, we’ve added a Quickstart Guide for new users, a New in iOS 11 page listing all our favorite new features, and a Jargon Dictionary to help you look up tech terms or buzzwords you don’t understand. These posts give you a whole new way to find tips, and we hope it’ll help you unearth something useful!
Pro tip: if you’d prefer all your apps to stay up-to-date automatically in the future, it’s worth enabling Automatic Downloads. Open the Settings app and press iTunes & App Store. Then make sure Updates is turned on.
