Want to overhaul your music collection to free up space? Delete songs directly within the Music app.
You may be used to swiping to delete individual tracks, but the redesigned Music app in iOS 8.4 and above operates a little differently from before.
When viewing the main list in the My Music tab, tap the three dots icon to the right of a song, album or artist to bring up a menu of options. Tap Delete to bring up a confirmation screen, which will allow you to confirm or cancel your choice.
You can also delete individual songs using the same method from the Now Playing screen.
