Thousands of apps and games are added to the App Store each week, and trawling through them to find the good ones can be difficult. That’s where we come in! App of the Week

Cibo [Free]

Whether you’re struggling with menus in a foreign country, or you simply have no idea what a certain dish is in your own, ordering from a restaurant can be a daunting process. Cibo helps out with a powerful visual translation tool. Just point your iPhone’s camera at the menu, select the words, and Cibo will provide images of the dish in question. You still might have no idea what that dish tastes like, but at least you’ll have a clue as to what you’re ordering.

Game of the Week

Pokemon Unite [Free]

Whether you’re a fan of the Game Boy original, a ’90s/’00s kid who grew up watching the animated show, or a committed Pokemon Go player, news of a new mobile Pokemon game is bound to stir something in you. Pokemon Unite is something new for the franchise: a free to play MOBA, or multiplayer online battle arena. Pick your Pokemon and engage in strategic top-down online 5v5 battles with and against your fellow players.

Overcast [Free]

No, Overcast is not another weather app. For a number of years now, it’s been one of our favorite podcast apps. Despite being the work of just a single person, it’s always tended to go that extra mile compared to Apple Podcasts. For example, it was one of the first apps of its kind to feature silence trimming and voice boosts. It also boasts an extremely clean, crisp interface, Apple Watch complications, and an excellent Smart Playlist function.
