Hero Emblems II [$6.99/£5.99]
Hero Emblems II is the follow-up to a well-received 2015 match-three RPG, offering more satisfying puzzle-driven combat. There’s an enhanced animation-inflected art style this time around, but the core gameplay is otherwise very familiar. With no pesky IAPs to worry about, this is a welcome callback to the meaty action-puzzlers of old.

If using the usual e-commerce suspects like Amazon and eBay is getting you down, don’t forget about Etsy. This established service has elements of both of those aforementioned giants, but with a particular emphasis on handmade or vintage items and craft supplies. Use the polished app to discover unique items and chat directly with shop owners, then shop with full order tracking and secure payments.
