App of the Week

Sparks [Free]

We’ve had our fill of dating apps focusing on instigating relationships, but there are precious few apps dedicated to maintaining them. Sparks is a self-described “relationships app” focused on helping existing couples to find new and interesting things to do together. From choosing the right movie to providing restaurant suggestions or vacation ideas, right down to Ask Me Anything relationship advice, it’s there to help keep the flame alive.

Game of the Week

Monster Train [$9.99/£8.99]

If, like us, you’ve ploughed dozens upon dozens of hours into Slay the Spire and now find yourself craving a fresh spin on the roguelike deckbuilder, Monster Train is here to take your money. It’s got a similar card battling set-up, but it applies a unique positional element as you fight on three fronts simultaneously. Throw in multiple decks and playing styles and a deeply characterful artstyle, and you have another PC port to get obsessed over.
