If you’re a basketball fan, then you should be very interested in the launch of an all new official NBA app. Featuring new personalization features courtesy of Microsoft’s AI expertise, as well as content from every NBA game (including pregame and postgame press conferences), not to mention a whole bunch of archived content (like 500 hours of classic games) and documentaries, it’s intended to be a one-stop shop for all things NBA.

Desta: The Memories Between [Netflix subscription required]
Desta: The Memories Between is a new game for Netflix subscribers, but the important point to note is that it’s the latest game from ustwo games – the developer behind the imperious Monument Valley and its sequel. It’s predictably stylish and story-driven, but the action this time takes the form of turn-based sports game-influenced battles. There’s also a challenging roguelike structure that sends you right back to the beginning if you fail.

While we’re talking about the revamped NBA app, it’s worth drawing attention to a stalwart in the App Store sports app space. Trade Rumors has been providing comprehensive US sports coverage for years, covering all four major American sports leagues and drawing from a wide variety of trusted news sources. You can customise your feed to encompass all four leagues, or drill right down and focus exclusively on your favourite team.
