Thousands of apps and games are added to the App Store each week, and trawling through them to find the good ones can be difficult. That’s where we come in! App of the Week

Lensa AI [Free]

Lensa AI is photo and video editing app that’s been around since November 2018. However, the recently released version 4.6.2 adds an intriguing new feature that’s been gaining a lot of traction of late. You can now use the app’s AI smarts and pre-existing photos of yourself to create so-called “magic avatars”, which are seemingly hand-drawn and highly stylized portraits of your face.

Game of the Week

Sand: An Adventure Story [Free]

Described as “part puzzle game, part adventure, part graphic novel”, Sand: An Adventure Story guides you on an atmospheric mobile adventure set in 1920s Egypt. Raid tombs, solve puzzles, and trace clues in the stars in this beautifully hand-drawn world. If you’re a fan of point-and-click adventures and classic Myst-style experiences, Sand: An Adventure Story should be right up your alley.
