Apple has updated its free app of the week, highlighting one of the coolest puzzle-platformers of 2016 for the star treatment this week. illi is a slick, charming game of gravity-defying jumps and brain-teasing challenges.
Imagine a cross between a goat and a slug, and you’ve got the game’s protagonist. Luckily, illi is cute and fluffy and much less nightmarish than that sounds! Simple one-tap controls and gorgeous graphics set the scene for a title that keeps adding new ideas and mechanics to stay fresh. If you have even a passing interest in iOS gaming, it’s worth giving it a try for yourself.
The game doesn’t feature any ads or in-app purchases, and there are 60 well-thought and unique levels to dip into. There’s nothing quite like it on the App Store, so we’d say this is a no-brainer download while it’s on sale!
