Publisher Humble Games is currently running a huge sale to celebrate its third anniversary. Despite many of its games being exclusive to PC and Nintendo Switch, the company has ported three titles to the iOS App Store.
Forager, Crying Suns, and Slay the Spire are all premium games that can be picked up with a $3/£3 discount this week. It’s a great time to pad out your Home Screen if you’re looking for something new to try.
All three games are worth checking out, but for our money, Slay the Spire is a must-play for fans of strategic card games, turn-based combat, rogue-like progression, or any of the above. It’s one of our all-time faves (read our review to see why) and plays great on iPhone and iPad.
Forager (was $8/£8, now $5/£5)
Forager is a 2D open world game inspired by your favorite exploration, farming and crafting games. Start small and improve your base, skills, equipment, network of friends (and enemies!) and build your future as you see fit!
Crying Suns (was $9/£9, now $6/£6)
When FTL meets Foundation and Dune: Crying Suns is a tactical rogue-lite that puts you in the role of a space fleet commander as you explore a mysteriously fallen empire. In this story rich experience inspired by Dune and Foundation, each successful run will uncover the truth about the Empire… and yourself as well.
Slay the Spire (was $10/£10, now $7/£7)
We fused card games and roguelikes together to make the best single player deckbuilder we could. Craft a unique deck, encounter bizarre creatures, discover relics of immense power, and Slay the Spire!
It looks as though the sale will end by May 22, though Humble Games could stop it sooner – so act fast.
