Just last week Apple announced a bunch of new products. Three of those, the colorful new iMac, super-fast iPad Pro, and updated Apple TV 4K, are available for order tomorrow (April 30, 2021). But Apple has been vague with the details, only promising they will ship “the second half of May.”
But recently leaked reports from all manner of places – included trusted analyst Jon Prosser and British retail giant John Lewis – seem to confirm that all three of those products will in fact be released Friday, May 21.
Of course, shipping estimates can slip fast after a popular product launch. When a new iPhone comes out, you often need to get in within minutes of preorders going live to stand a change of actually getting the kit on launch day.
We’re not expecting things to be quite so crazy for these products, but certainly you’ll want to act fast to ensure you receive your purchase as soon as possible – especially if you’ve got your eye on one of the more popular colors. (That’s blue and silver, according to a 9to5Mac poll).
The only remaining question mark is that Apple hasn’t revealed what time these preorders will open, only the date. History isn’t much to go by either, as Apple has opened orders at various times over the years.
Your best bet is to check as midnight ticks over tonight and then again as soon as you get up in the morning. And for swift checkout, ensure you have the Apple Store app installed with the correct payment details already set up.
