iPhone Photography Awards: 2018 winners announced

Celebrating the creativity of iPhone users

The winners of the annual iPhone Photography Awards have been announced for 2018, and there are some stunning shots to be seen. Here’s this year’s winning image, by Jashim Salam, picturing “Rohingya children watching an awareness film about health and sanitation near Tangkhali refugee camp in Ukhiya.”

Grand prize: Jashim Salam of Bangladesh

Seeing powerful photographs like this shot on an iPhone is pretty inspirational, and just goes to show that you don’t need a fancy camera to capture impressive images – just a good eye for composition and a little technical know-how.

If you want to improve your own photography skills, consider checking out iPhone Photography Academy for advanced techniques and tuition. There’s a paid course for those wanting to dive straight in, plus some very useful freebies if you’d rather keep your wallet in your pocket.
