Hi! Thanks for reading. This post looks better in our award-winning app, Tips & Tricks for iPhone.
The original Monument Valley took the App Store by storm back in 2014, and its sequel three years later was a pretty big success too. It still holds up as one of the best-looking mobile game series ever, and now Monument Valley 2 is back with a brand new chapter of mind-bending architecture to explore.
So why has developer ustwo decided to revisit the game four years after it came out? Well, it’s all part of a Playing for the Planet Green Game Jam intended to support forest conservation efforts. Those who contribute to the jam are hoping players will sign the Play 4 Forests petition.
The Lost Forest, comprised of four new scenes of gorgeous impossible geometry, is a free update to those who already own the game. If you don’t own it by now, it’s down to just $2/£2 and comes with our hearty recommendation.
The game is a relatively casual experience, offering light challenges that should appeal to anyone – even if you’re not usually a gamer. Just read our full review if you’re not sure.
