iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 arrived this week, and hopefully most of you have updated by now. (Head to Settings > General > Software Update if not).
There are plenty of new features to dig your teeth into, along with a few big design changes and new settings you should be aware of. Plus the promise of all those awesome Apple Intelligence features looming ever closer.
We’ve tested the lot and written 30 brand new tips to cover all the new features, and it’s available completely free for all readers in the Tips & Tricks apps. All you need to do is hit the update button and you’ll be greeted with the full roster of around 300 iPhone/iPad tips.
How to update Tips & Tricks
Tap the Settings button on the tab bar at the bottom of this app and then Update Content followed by Update Tips Content. It’s as simple as that! After a brief download, the contents of our All Tips section will be completely refreshed. Many of the tips will look the same, but we’ve scoured the lot to ensure they’re still relevant in iOS 18.
So what’s new?
Plenty! You’ll find new features dotted throughout almost every chapter. But to quickly get to grips with all that’s new, head to our Introduction chapter and read our New in iOS 18 post. There, we’ve listed every single added in the latest update for easy access. Work your way through them and you’ll soon be getting the most from your device again!
Troubleshooting
The download can take a few minutes if your internet connection is slow. Leave the app open while downloading the new content and be patient.
If you run into further problems, first try deleting Tips & Tricks and reinstalling it from the App Store. If all else fails, you can view all the new tips using the following link instead:
