Latest issue of Swipe: Keeping Connected

We’ve just published the latest issue of our sister app, Swipe Magazine. It’s full of the same kind of tips and features you’ll find here, packaged neatly into fortnightly issues. There are dozens of back issues available and you can trial it completely free if you want a new way to get to know your iPhone!

Editor’s Notes

Winter is well and truly upon us now, but we’re not quite out of the pandemic fires just yet. As such, it’s going to be a tricky holiday season for those of us facing local quarantines or travel restrictions. That’s one of the motives behind our main Reviews roundup this issue, which looks at a dozen apps and games that can help you connect with friends and family even when you’re not together in person. Oh, and they’re all pretty great even when we’re not staring down a deadly virus, too.

Later on we’ve got a full and frank iPhone buyer’s guide, following up from the iPad and Apple Watch guides we published in recent issues. Apple now offers seven different models of iPhone, not even taking storage or color options into consideration. It’s a tough ask to know which one is the best fit for your needs! That’s where we come in…

Of course, we’ve also got a bunch of app reviews, tutorials, and news stories for you to dive into as usual. My personal highlight is the note-taking app we reviewed this issue, which has quickly become my go-to for all kinds of writing, research, and ideas generation.

Don’t miss our next issue, dropping a week before Christmas with everything you need to ensure the festivities are a success!
