Latest issue of Swipe: Books as Apps

We’ve just published the latest issue of our sister app, Swipe Magazine. It’s full of the same kind of tips and features you’ll find here, packaged neatly into fortnightly issues. There are dozens of back issues available and you can trial it completely free if you want a new way to get to know your iPhone!

Editor’s Notes

This issue, we’re revisiting an old favorite from many moons ago: books that work better as apps. That may sound like sacrilege to all the great novels of our time, but these picks – from interactive Frankenstein to a compendium of Da Vinci works – add something fresh and engaging with their digital versions. Plus, some of them are original reads written specifically as apps in the first place!

Over in Features, you’ll find a think-piece on Apple’s approach to password management alongside the continuation of our Classics series, which dives into long-time favorite iOS app Reeder as well as the influential and very weird World of Goo.

We also have a review of one of the most intriguing sleep trackers we’ve ever tested, alongside some pretty nifty tips in the How-To section and all the latest News.

All that and more in this issue of Swipe. Don’t miss it!
