Welcome to #197 – a note from the editor

Hello again!

First of all, I hope you’re all keeping as safe and well as possible in these unprecedented pandemic times.

Despite the strange circumstances, Apple has been pretty busy over the past two weeks. You’ll see that reflected in a News section that covers Apple’s various technological responses to COVID-19, as well as the release of perhaps the best-value iPhone of all time.

Speaking of which, our Features section this issue looks at the new iPhone SE in more detail to explain why, for some people, it will be all the iPhone they ever need. We also dive into the new cursor support for iPad and why bringing it to iPhone in future could change everything.

Our Reviews roundup revisits an old topic from 50 or so issues back: games you can play with a friend on two separate devices. With much of the world stuck in isolation, remote multiplayer gaming has shot up the Google search rankings, and so we’re here to advise the best apps to scratch that itch for iPhone and iPad.

Finally, head to the How-To section for advice on a range of topics to help you get the most from your device.

Stay safe out there,
