Hi! Thanks for reading. This post looks better in our award-winning app, Tips & Tricks for iPhone.
Welcome back to Swipe Magazine! We hope you had a good break, and here’s to a better 2021. But before we head down the path of this new year too far, let’s take one last look at the App Store releases of 2020…
There were countless apps published over the past 12 months, with many of the very best already mentioned in Swipe – either through full reviews, app roundups, or even news articles about Apple’s award winners. As has become tradition, instead of a conventional “best of” list we’re instead bringing you the “best of the rest.” Six amazing apps and six great games that we didn’t cover over the course of last year. These picks may have passed us by at the time, but they’re far too good to ignore, so head to our Reviews section to ensure you don’t miss out on some of the most impressive and underappreciated apps and games of 2020.
That’s not all we’re focused on this issue though! Check out our top Feature for ideas on where to start if you’ve been curious about picking up some coding skills. There are so many different ways to learn and some great apps out there to help beginners get started with the sometimes overwhelming task of picking up a programming language. Even if you don’t consider yourself a technical person, you may be surprised at the coding skills you can pick up just by studying on your iPhone or iPad.
We’ve also got a piece examining why one of the more exciting new features of iOS – App Clips – hasn’t really gone anywhere, and a series of How-To articles covering futuristic productivity skills and new year-inspired educational tricks
As ever, enjoy the issue and see you next time!
