Welcome to #234 – a note from the editor

  • by

Hello again Swipe readers!

How many of you picked up an iPhone 13 or one of the new iPads? If you’re still on the fence about upgrading, head to our Features section for hands-on reviews of all the latest models. They should help you decide whether to get a new device now or wait until next year.

Meanwhile, we revisited an old roundup in the Reviews section. Our list of the most useful Home Screen widgets is now a whopping thirty entries long, and we’re certain you’ll find some apps in there worthy of a download. We’ve also reviewed some pretty nifty apps this issue.

How-To has moved on from the basic iOS 15 guides – check back over the last few issues if you’re still looking for ways to make the most of the new update. Instead, we’ve got some really great tutorials covering some lesser-known features and quirks of iOS 15 as well as a series of tricks to improve your touch screen typing.

Finally, it’s worth noting that compared to the bumper content elsewhere, this issue’s News section is a little sparse. That’s because this is typically the slowest section of the year for Apple news, coming as it does one week after the busiest news week of the year. There’s just nothing left to talk about!

We hope you enjoy reading all of the above, and don’t forget to check back in a fortnight for our next issue of Swipe magazine!
