Welcome to #289 – a note from the editor

  • by

Welcome to Computer World! Actually, it’s still Swipe: iPhone Magazine, but we have several features in this issue that pertain to computers.

First: we list some of the best iPhone and iPad apps that also work great on Mac, thanks to Apple Silicon.

Second: iOS doesn’t support multiple users like the Mac does, but that won’t stop us trying. We investigate ways to “hack” your iPhone to make it more computer-like.

Third: for those of you with Apple iPhones but Windows PCs, we show you how to sync up your photo library between the two using iCloud.

Fourth: with the right app and dongle, you can turn an iPad into an HDMI monitor that works with computers, games consoles, DSLR cameras, and more.

All that and plenty more news, reviews, and how-tos to sink your teeth into. Oh! And with the festive season almost upon us, there’s a pretty hefty gift guide for the iPhone owners in your life too. Enjoy!
