Apple Pay is Apple’s payment system that lets you make payments using your device. The service is compatible with the iPhone 6 and later.
Setting up Apple Pay is easy. Simply open the Settings app and tap Wallet & Apple Pay. Then tap Add Credit or Debit Card and follow the instructions to set up your card.
To make payments at compatible contactless payment terminals, hold your device up to the reader and hold your TouchID finger or thumbprint on the Home button to authorize the transaction. The terminal will recognize your device and make the payment.
To ensure your card is there and waiting when you reach the payment reader, you can double-click the Home button, which will bring up your card.
