iOS 9: Use the iPad camera to take panoramic photos

Take great pictures of wide vistas with the Panorama feature, which is available on the iPad 3 and later or the iPad Mini 2 and later. Open the Camera app and slide from top to bottom on the screen until the Pano option is selected.

A rectangular box then appears across the middle of the screen with an arrow pointing in the direction you need to pan the device. However, you can swap the direction of the panorama by tapping the arrow if you prefer.

Tap the take picture button and sweep across your scene, using the arrow to keep level. Once you’re happy, tap the take picture button again and it will be saved to the Photos app.
