It’s easy to preview links people send you in Messages. This means that you no longer have to tap through to a link to find out what page you’ll land on, and saves you from switching between apps during a conversation.
Long-press and hold on any of the links on the page, and a preview will load. This often gives you everything you need to know, without leaving the Messages app.
If you decide to read it, lift your finger and tap on the preview – this will open Safari if it’s a web link, or another app depending on the content. Or, swipe upwards to reveal a menu of additional options, such as Add to Reading List.
Alternatively, tap anywhere else and the preview will close, taking you back to where you started.
