Move multiple apps at the same time using this neat new capability in iOS 11.
The more apps we use the more familiar we are at putting them in folders. For example, many people keep all their games in one folder. However, when you first set these up, it can be a labor-intensive task moving them individually.
To move more at once, press and hold on an icon until the apps start wiggling. This is the point you’d usually move an app to a folder or a second Home Screen. However, if you use another finger to tap another app while holding down the original one, then the second app will be added to a “stack.”
You can keep adding apps to a stack and then drop them into a folder all at once by lifting up your finger.
