Did you know you can move multiple apps at once on the Home screen?
The more apps we use the more familiar we are with putting them in folders. For example, many people keep all their games in one folder. However, it can be a labor-intensive task moving them individually if you have a lot of organizing to do.
To move more at once, press and hold on an icon until the pop-up menu appears, then select Edit Home Screen. This is the point you’d usually move an app to a folder or a second Home screen. However, if you use a second finger to tap another app while holding down the original one, then the second app will be added to a “stack.”
You can keep adding apps to a stack and then drop them into a folder all at once by lifting up your finger.
This method is also useful to quickly move a bunch of apps to a different page of your Home screen. While holding a stack of apps with one finger, you can use another finger to swipe left and right to quickly move between the pages of your Home screen.
