You can access Reader View while browsing the web in Safari. This strips out all the adverts, sidebars, and formatting, and lets you focus on just the plain text and essential images for an easy, distraction-free read.

To switch to Reader View, tap the aA icon to the left of the website address and choose Show Reader View. To return to the normal view, tap the icon again and choose Hide Reader View. Bear in mind this only works on particular web pages.
