Easily show off your pictures to friends or family by creating shared albums in the Photos app.

To manually create a shared album, open the Photos app and press the Select button in the top right. Tap any images you wish you share.

Tap the Share icon (the square with the upward arrow) and select Add to Shared Album. Name the album, press Next and then enter the names of the people you want to share with.

Once invitees accept, they’ll be able to see all the images and comment on them as well.

Use sharing suggestions

There’s an even quicker way to share photos using automated suggestions. Head to the For You tab in the Photos app and you’ll be able to swipe left and right through a series of Sharing Suggestions, presented in chronological order.

Tap Share with friends? on any of these albums and it will allow you to prune the selection before sharing. If you only want to send a subset of the chosen images, tap Select and tick all the ones you want included. To add more, press the + button and choose as many as you like.

When you’re happy with the album, press Next and then add some contacts on the next page. Tap Share in Messages and those people will be sent a link to the photos and an invitation to share back if they have photos taken in the same location.
