While Apple does limit tracking and cookies in the newer versions of its Safari app, cross-site tracking can still occur.
To prevent websites from doing so on your device, go to Settings then tap Safari. Scroll down and turn on the option Prevent Cross-Site Tracking. Bear in mind this won’t remove ads completely, it will just mean they won’t be able to see your previous browsing history.
Privacy Report
In iOS 14, Safari contains the ability to call up a Privacy Report. Just tap the AA icon to the left of the URL bar and select Privacy Report.
This will offer a break down of all the trackers that have been blocked by Apple’s web browser. These are displayed by website, starting with the current page.
