Hi! Thanks for reading. This post looks better in our award-winning app, Tips & Tricks for iPhone.
Apple is currently offering the hugely popular sketching app Procreate for iPhone users for free.
It’s not the first time Apple has offered an app for free, it’s previously given away Day One 2 – a journaling app – and Rules! the popular puzzle game. However, it’s by no means a regular occurrence so it’s worth snapping it up now. Here’s how.
Procreate Pocket, which allows users to create incredible works of art with ease directly from their device, can be downloaded via the Apple Store app. Note this is a different app to the App Store app, and is where you can shop for Apple hardware. If you don’t have the app you can download it from the App Store here. Here’s what it looks like:
Once downloaded, or opened, go to the “Stores” tab in the center of the bottom menu bar, then scroll right down to the bottom of the screen. Here, you can swipe left on the banner until you see the Procreate image.
Tap here and you’ll be directed to the App Store where you can download it for free. The offer expires on July 28, 2016 and only applies to the iPhone version of Procreate which is worth $2.99. iPad users can still download Procreate Pocket, but they’ll only be able to access the iPhone version and not the full iPad edition (known simply as Procreate) without payment (the iPad edition is priced at $5.99.)
