Looks like June is the month of the blockbusting App Store sequel. We’ve already been treated to Monument Valley 2 this month, and now the multi-award-winning FRAMED drops a sequel right on our iOS doorstep. Here’s the developer’s elevator pitch, and the official trailer:
“FRAMED 2 is a noir puzzle game where you re-arrange panels of an animated comic book to change the outcome of the story.”
It’s a very clever premise, and it’s unlike anything else on the App Store – except the original FRAMED, of course. FRAMED 2 looks like it will deliver more of the same great blend of narrative and gameplay from the first game, which (depending on when you read this) may still be available as part of Apple’s free game of the week offer. It could be a good chance to try out the format before you commit to buying the new one – and even if the sale is over, you can always read our full review of the first game instead.
Rearranging the comic sequence will change the outcome
