Apple Camp – Enrolment opens for annual kids programme

Enrolment for the annual Apple Camp programme for kids has now been opened.

Apple Camp, a series of three-day workshops is held in Apple retail stores and is aimed towards children aged 8-12.

The idea is to give them the opportunity to explore technology and how to use it to be more creative.

Apple’s also announced what this year’s workshops will be. They are ‘Stories in Motion with iMovie’ and ‘Interactive Storytelling with iBooks’.

The former looks at how iMovie can be used to create films via the Mac, while the latter looks at creating interactive books through iBooks and iBooks author.

The Camps take place from 11am to 12.30pm at retail stores in the US, Canada, Unitied Kingdom, China, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Hong Kong and Japan.

Kids can be enrolled in the Camps for free, but places are limited – sign up now via Apple’s Website.
