Apple announced a new, entry-level iPad this week, alongside a new color for its iPhone 7 device – both are now available to order from Apple.com.
The new iPhone 7 is also available in Apple retail stores, but the iPad won’t arrive until next week.
The red iPhone marks a ten-year partnership with (RED), the global fund for AIDS research. Tim Cook confirmed this week a portion of the sales will go to the organization.
The new iPad is simply called ‘iPad,’ though is technically the seventh-generation of the original 9.7-inch iPad. It follows the iPad Air 2, and comes with similar specs but a faster processor. It becomes Apple’s cheapest iPad, starting at just $329 for the Wi-Fi model and $459 for the cellular model.
The red iPhone will be available in only 128GB and 256GB models, starting from $749.
