Check this out: Three-minute time-lapse of every Apple.com homepage from 1996-2016

Sometimes when you’ve got just a few minutes spare it’s nice to watch something beautiful. Strangely,  the evolving homepage of Apple.com is just that. Over the course of two decades, a new time-lapse video demonstrates Apple going from a semi-popular, high-end computer company, to music revolutionary, to smartphone visionary. Also, watching the evolution of web-design and UI in itself is fairly entertaining.

The video arrives as the homepage turns twenty years old, and ushers in the era of “modern Apple,” after Steve Jobs returned to the company in 1997.

Of course, the homepage isn’t all about Apple’s products. Other events are noted, such as the passing of Jobs in 2011.

Watch the video above and marvel at how fast the past twenty years in Apple technology has passed.
