Cinamatic is currently free in the Apple App Store after being selected as its App of the Week.
We’d recommend you go ahead and grab it now – we had great fun with it when we reviewed it a couple of months ago.
The app is made by Hipstamatic, the retro image filter app. Cinamatic operates in much the same way, but, yep – you guessed it – it’s a video app, which provides an easy, and super-fun way to create short films. These films can then be adorned with all kinds of filters and effects before being shared on social media.
Said Apple in the accompanying App Store notes: “Created with the same polish as Hipstamatic’s popular photography apps, Cinamatic lets you shoot, stylize, and then share your videos. Its clean, understated interface puts filming first, and a bevy of intuitive features and colorful filters can add visual twists to your videos before you post them to Facebook, Instagram, and Vine.”
Cinamatic was previously priced at $0.99/£0.69 on its release back in May, but is now available for free.
