The fifth installment of the hugely popular Five Nights at Freddy’s series has just hit the App Store.
The indie survival point-and-click video game is pretty much the closest you can get to a horror movie on your iPhone, so if that’s your bag, give the game a shot.
Never heard of Freddy’s before? Here’s the gist: you play a night guard at a pizzeria, checking security cameras for animatronic characters which become homicidal after-hours. The series develops other mechanics, locations and characters.
Recently, a film adaptation was revealed to be in production by Warner Bros. Pictures.
For a better idea on the game, you can read our reviews of the third and fourth installments of the game.
Here’s the blurb for the fifth installment: “Welcome to Circus Baby’s Pizza World, where family fun and interactivity go beyond anything you’ve seen at those *other* pizza places! Now hiring: Late night technician. Must enjoy cramped spaces and be comfortable around active machinery. Not responsible for death or dismemberment.”
