Apple has been on a bit of a social media push of late – back in March they launched a brand new Apple Support Twitter account (@AppleSupport) – and it seems its expanding its presence further following the release of a new iBooks account on Instagram.
iBooks, Apple’s ebook platform, has been spending its early days on social media touting the script book of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, which recently launched as a stage show in London’s West End.
With a total of 15 posts so far, we’ll have to wait and see how useful the iBooks recommendations will be, but for now this is a very new approach and tone for Apple and it’ll be interesting to see which of its other services might get a social media persona.
