iOS 9.0.2 released, includes minor bug fixes

Apple has released another sharp update to its iOS 9 software. The operating system for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch now rests on 9.0.2.

The fixes it includes are minor – the iOS 9 release has been relatively smooth, reaching 50% adoption in just five days, however, the updates have come fast, addressing a number of issues.

Here’s a list of what iOS 9.0.2 fixes:

  • Fixes an issue with the setting to turn on or off app cellular data usage
  • Resolves an issue where an iCloud Backup could be interrupted after starting a manual backup
  • Fixes an issue where the screen could incorrectly rotate when receiving notifications
  • Improves the stability of Podcasts

There’s also been some security updates, which address an issue with the lock screen in which a user may have been able to access photos and contacts via the lock screen when the device was locked.

The update only requires 71.8MB of space and can’t be downloaded by heading to Settings General Software Update.
