The iPhone 6 leaks are coming thick and fast as the devices enter their testing and assembly phases – the latest, though of low quality, purportedly show the next generation of iPhone under testing at Foxconn – Apple’s Taiwanese manufacturing contractor.
First posted on Chinese microblogging site Weibo, the images are said to have come straight from Foxconn – though whether it’s a prototype or the final design is unknown.
Recent rumors have revolved around Apple producing two models with different screen sizes alongside claims that the depth of the device will be as low as 7.1mm.
The knock on affect of having a device that thin is that Apple would have to have a protruding camera.
These images certainly suggest that this will be the case.
It was suggested that the device would contain a protruding camera in schematics that were leaked last week, and claimed to be of the iPhone 6.
Since then the designs have been rendered into 3D in some of the most striking iPhone 6 concept drawings seen so far.
