SEYVR wallet provides built-in iPhone charger

Not since the launch of Apple Pay (although, that was only this week) has anything brought together your wallet and iPhone quite like this.

The SEYVR Power Saver Wallet has been running up a bit of interest as it builds up to its launch on November 5 as smartphone users continue to seek new and intuitive ways to charge their phone.

While your device is in your pocket at almost all times, portable chargers aren’t so much. But if you put that charger in something else that’s always in your pocket, well, you’ve got yourself something that’s aimed much more at everyday use.

We’re yet to try this new product out (though we hope to soon), so this is by no means an endorsement, but it’s still a great concept worth talking about.

So, how does it work? Well, a lighting cable slot is accessible from the middle of the wallet, and under the leather is a 6mm thick battery. Pretty slim, right? It can apparently be charged within 2 hours by plugging a USB cable into the wallet. While there is no info yet as to how quickly it’ll recharge the battery, we’d prefer to give it a run out ourselvesĀ so we’ll keep you updated.

The wallet is made of reinforced cowhide leather, includes four card slots. The wallet has Made For iPhone accreditation and is compatible with the iPhone 5 and later. It’ll be launched on 5th November, but is available for pre-order now if you fancy it.
