After its announcement last month, Apple Watch Series 7 is finally available for preorder ahead of its release on 15 October.

Apple Watch Series 7 starts from $399/£379 and there is a range of colors for each finish. The cheaper aluminum body is available in green, blue, midnight, starlight, and (PRODUCT)RED. Stainless steel comes in silver, graphite, and gold steel, while titanium is offered in either natural or space black.

Preorders can be made via the Apple Store website or the Apple Store app.

At the time of publishing, preorders opened literally seconds ago – so depending on how soon you read this, you should still have a good shot at launch day delivery. If shipping estimates have slipped, there’s often excess stock in stores so try opting for in-person pick-up instead.

What’s new?

The most notable feature of the new model is a much larger display that subtly curves around the edges. This extra screen space allows for more text to fit in the frame and there’s even (just about) room for a full swipe keyboard.

Apple also says this latest Apple Watch is more durable than ever, and can be charged much quicker too – meaning all-night sleep tracking is actually realistic without running out of battery.

Read our Apple Watch S7 lowdown for more details on what’s new, or our latest opinion piece to see why despite some criticisms, Apple’s design team is making changes that really matter.
