Prisma camera app adds new ‘Store’ in update – all new art styles currently free

Prisma, the app that uses a neural-AI engine to turn photos into works of art based on classic styles has added a new store to its app.

In version 3.1, which is available for free on the App Store now, the store gives users access to a series of new filters and styles.

Currently, all these filters are free, but the fact it’s being referred to as a ‘Store’ suggests it might begin charging at some point. Prisma has always been a free app, and this might be the road towards monetization. If you’re a user of the app, we’d recommend updating now and grabbing all the new styles!

If you’re not a user, where have you been? The App Store smash has seen heavily-filtered selfies hitting the web over the last year. You can read our review of Prisma here. (The app has since gained offline functionality and a video option)
